![]() ( On my 1999 Grand Prix, this second tip was not necessary, because there was a 90 degreees elbow that helped to disconnect and reconnect the pump) Also another tip take a lighter or a small heat gun and gently heat the plastic hose but DO NOT MELT IT !!! if you heat it up a little bit, it should slide off easier AGAIN DO NOT HEAT IT TO MUCH THAT IT STARTS TO MELT!!! First tip : Do have a bucket handy cause all the juice will spill out on the floor other wise. Remember to disconnect the electrical connection first and move it out of the way. (Note that being a lefthander will help.) I just turn the wheels to the left to remobe partialy the inner fender then cramp the wheels on the right to have some space to push the inner fender away.) Unscrew and pull back the inner fender and you can get at it from there. ( but I did it without removing the tire. "G"ĬORRECTION!!! Actually removing the battery will not do any good as it does not come out that way! You may need to take off the tire on the drivers side. Forgot to mention that all your fluid in the container will now be on the ground unless you drained it first. Simply swap the hoses and conector to the new pump and re-assmeble. A hose will be attached and an electrical conector. ![]() You will need to remove the battery and reach down under the reservoir. ![]() The washer pump is located on the bottom of the washer reservoir on the pasenger side front fender in front of the front wheel. ![]()
